THE KIWIS
BRIGHT VARIETY CONCERT •• Cairo Carnival,” the second programme of vaudeville revue staged in His Majesty’s Theatre by the Kiwis, was presented to another enthusiastic audience last night. Phil Jay and John Hunter were at their best in an excellent selection of female impersonations and Tim Bonner again entertained with his juvenile gambols. Several attractive musical nurftbers were presented by Alec Taylor and Ivan Dunn, and piano-accordeon items were skilfully played by Snowy Hall and Harry Unwin. Others in the talented cast included Jack Mtllins, Dick Marcroft. Jack Parsons, Eddie Hegan, and Bill Shavley. Music was provided by George Halton and his orchestra. The Kiwis’ Dunedin season will conclude on Saturday with matinee and evening performances.
