ELDERLY WOMAN’S DEATH
FOUND BESIDE GAS STOVE
Katherine Evaline Dession Taylor, a married woman, aged about 70 years, was yesterday found dead by her husband at their residence. 41 Grand View terrace, Opoho. Mr Taylor left for work as usual in the morning, and on returning home for lunch he found all the doors and windows shut and his wife sitting in a chair in the kitchen beside a gas stove. Dr PorteoUs was summoned, and he pronounced life to be extinct. An inquest will be opened at the house this morning.
