RECITAL
MURIEL HERBERT’S PUPILS
A. musical and dramatic recital of unusual interest was held in the R.S.A. ■Hall on Tuesday evening, when Muriel Herbert presented her pupils in a varied programme before a large and appreciative audience. The choir was heard in " Tales from the Vienna Woods " and “ Coming In on a Wing and a Prayer,” and later gave in character an attractive rendering of “In a Persian Market.” The young performers were charmingly natural, and delighted the audience with vocal solos, character sqngs, duets, recitations, piano solos, and a musical monologue. All the items showed evidence of careful training, and Mrs Herbert Is to be congratulated on the high standard attained.
