FOOD FOR HOLLAND

FLOWN FROM ENGLAND RUGBY. Dec. 11. Food from Allied stores is being flown from England to feed hungry civilians in Holland almost every day l?y United States troop carrier forces. Every day on which the conditions are favourable more than five tons of food is being flown from an air-freight depot in Southern England to an air base only 25 miles behind the front lines in Holland. The chief cargo to the Dutch is lard, because there is a great shortage of food fats in the Netherlands.
