ROBOT BOMBS
PRODUCTION IN AMERICA POSSIBLE USE AGAINST JAPAN - (Rec. 11.35 p.m) NEW YORK, Oct. 23. The War Department revealed that it had let contracts for the production of 1000 to 2000 copies of the German VI robot bomb, says the Herald-Tri-bune’s Washington correspondent. This has led to speculation whether the United States is preparing to mass produce “ buzz bombs ” for use against Japan. °
