After being thoroughly sterilised, Woollen and Cotton Rags are processed into flock to replace kapok in mattresses. THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. 1. Save all the woollen and cotton rags you can—factory and dressmakers' woollen and cotton offcuts, worn-out clothing, household linen, and your own dressmaking scraps. 2. Remove any metal hooks, clasps, or domes, as these are liable to damage the processing machinery. Clip off buttons and save for further use. 3. Savo your rags till you have a sugar-bag full.
