MR SULLIVAN’S ARRIVAL
COMMENT ON AVIATION (Rec. 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 21. The New Zealand Minister of Supply, Mr D. G. Sullivan, head of the Dominion’s delegation to the International Air Conference, has arrived in Washington for consultations before going to Montreal for Empire talks. Mr Sullivan told the press that New Zealand, because of her geographic isolation, was intensely interested in the expansion of the international aviation system, particularly trunk lines to Britain, America, and Canada. She also wished to see links with the Pacific Islands, India, and China.
