MAINLY FAIR Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 pan.': yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation. —A depression west of Auckland Is moving slowly 'southwards. t Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Moder-ate to fresh north-easterly winds; some morning mist or drizzle, but the weather otherwise fair; temperatures moderate. Further Outlook. South-westerly change, with showers and cooler temperatures. Weather in Dunedin.—Fine and sunny conditions prevailed in Dunedin over the week-end. A moderate to fresh northeast breeze on Saturday kept temperatures fairly cool, but yesterday was warm with a light northerly breeze. Light, rain began to fall last evening.
