“FLARE PATH”
JJ Flare Path,’’ an R.A.F. comedy, is being produced by the Dunedin Repertory Society during the Industries Fair. A flare path on an aerodrome guides the planes in taking off or landing, and this play deals with the ‘‘take-offs’’ and “ landings ’’ in the love affairs of an R.A.F. pilot. The Repertory Society has secured the services of Miss Bessie Thomson as the producer, and she has at her disposal one of the strongest casts seen in recent productions. The proceeds will go to the Merchant Navy, and the season will run for seven nights. The box plan will be opened at the D.I.C. on Friday.
