POPULATION OF WARSAW

EVACUATION ORDERED (Rec. 7 p.m.) RUGBY, 'Oct. 7. The Germans have ordered the Polish population of Warsaw to evacuate the city, states an agency message. This will render another 1,000,000 people homeless. There is every reason to believe that the Germans intend to send a large proportion of them to concentration and labour camps. The Polish Government in London has made ttn urgent appeal to all the United Nations to help at all costs to prevent this new mass crime being committed. The German News Agency reports that 11,000 Polish insurgents, including six generals, were taken prisoner after Warsaw's capitulation. The evacuation of Warsaw, which is completely destroyed, is now in full swing.
