TONE TOO FRIENDLY
GERMAN PHRASE BOOKS WITHDRAWN (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 6. Because the tone of the dialogues was considered too friendly, the authorities have withdrawn 60,000 copies of a phrase book issued to Americans to help them with language difficulties in Germany, says the Exchange Telegraph's correspondent with the United States First Army.
