Scottish Concert.—The annual juvenile Scottish concert, which was held in the Britannia Theatre on Friday night last, proved an unqualified success, the theatre being filled to capacity. The performance of the children in musical, dancing, and concerted numbers was of a high standard. Mr A. E. Paterson was the stage manager and Miss I. Murray the programme oganiser. Numbers were presented by the primary school choir, the conductor being Mr H. Rosevear, and by the South Otago High School choir under Mr W. R. Scott. Milk Supply.—A petition is being circulated for presentation to the Borough Council praying that the council ask the Minister of Transport to amend the Balclutha Milk Delivery Order to enable milk vendors who do not use petrol and tyres to operate in the borough.
