ATTACK ON BERGEN
FOUR SUBMARINES HIT RUGBY. Oct. 5.Four submarines, three of them in floating docks, were hit in Wednesday’s attacks by Canadian bombers on Bergen. One floating dock containing a submarine was shown by reconnaissance photographs to have sunk, and another was partly submerged. Submarine pens under construction were hit, and a floating crane has disappeared. Machine shops, and the main engineering and boiler sheds have been damaged.
