CITY PLAYING AREAS
APPLICATIONS APPROVED The following applications for the use of playing areas for the summer season have been approved by the Reserves Committee of the City Council: Otago Women’s Baseball Association, portion of Bathgate Park at a foe of £3 3s for the season, plus 10s public risk insurance. Otago Cricket League: Seven wickets on the Oval at a charge of £6 5s per wicket, less the special war-time reduction of 25 per cent., plus £5 for the two rooms required in the Oval pavilion and 10s per wicket for public risk insurance.
