“LIQUID” HOUSES

LONDON. Oct. 4.x-Six-roomed houses, completed within 24 days and estimated to last for a thousand years, are now being constructed in England, reports the London .Evening News. These; are socalled “liquid houses ” constructed under a revolutionary new system evolved by a firm of London architects. The first mould is prepared—this takes 9 of the 24 days. The mould is made of interlocking interchangeable steel and plywood parts, and allows for window frames and doors. Liquid concrete is then poured in. Once it is set the house is ready. The new “liquid” house is much cheaper than a brick house of the same size and is far more durable.
