(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 27. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s August meeting was concluded at Addington on Saturday before a very large crowd. The weather was fine and the track in fast order. The totalisator investments amounted to £141,776, compared with £121,466. The total for the meeting reached £259,482 10s, compared with £226,221 10s last year. Following are the results:— Intermediate Handicap, of £550. Two miles. —2/2 Blue Horizon, 12yds bhd (G.
