GERMANS IN BALKANS
ORDERED TO HOLD ON (Rec. 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 27. The Berlin radio at frequent intervals to-day broadcast urgent messages to German troops in the Balkans appealing to them to hold on at all costs. It emphasised the threat to the rear of the armies fighting on the eastern front.
