TRANSACTIONS APPROVED The Otago Land Sales Committee— Messrs E. J. Anderson (chairman), D. J. Ross and N. McNamara—at its sitting yesterday afternoon dealt with 56 leases, most of these being applications for the approval of property transactions. Of these, six were adjourned for the hearing of the parties concerned and in 11 cases reductions by consent were made in the original sale price by amounts ranging from £ls to £IOOO. This latter amount was for a farm property In the Oamaru district, the original consideration having been £11,610 16s lOd. The other applications were granted, most of these being for slims below £IOOO. Applications Granted
