BOOKMAKERS FINED
(P.A.) GREYMOUTH, June 19. James Hassall was fined £75 this morning for using premises as a common gaming house. He pleaded guilty. There were five previous convictions, the last in 1935. John Joseph Shan'nahsn, similarly charged, was fined £2O. ' He was a first offender.
