meeting of association The Mayor (Mr D. C. Cameron) presided over a meeting of the Otago Patriotic and General Welfare Association yesterday, and there were also present Messrs R. A. Johnston, J. L. Salmond, A. McHutchon, J. M. White, J. J. Marlow, A C. Laing, Edgar Hazlett, A. Duncan, J. H' Miller, W. K. Cameron, W. F. Forrester, Jamse Begg, G. Z. Lindley, and J. S. Skinner. „ ~ Mr Lindley, chairman of the Finance Committee, reported that the committee had sold at a premium Government securities to the value of £IB6O to provide liquid funds. . „ „ The following members of the executive were elected to act on the Otago Soldiers’ and Dependents’ Welfare Committee: Messrs A. McHutchon, S. B. Smith, J. S. Skinner, and W. F. Forrester. The following finance committee was elected: The Mayor (Mr D. C. Cameron), Messrs G. Z. Lindley, James Begg, Edgar Hazlett, and A. C. Laing.
