WESLEY GUILD

Mrs F. Familton (president) was in the chair at the June meeting of the Wesley Ladies’ Guild, at which Mrs Mayson led the devotions. Sympathy was expressed with several members and friends in their bereavement. It was agreed to hold at the next meeting a combined guild and auxiliary gift afternoon for the Solomon Islands Mission Fund, 'and arrangements were made for packing soldiers’ parcels this week. Songs were contributed by Mrs Bartlett, and a reading by Mrs Cropp, and each of the officers and the retiring secretary (Mrs Millar) was presented with a shoulder spray.
