RAIDERS OVER BRITAIN
LONDON, June 13
German planes last night raided parts of East Anglia, South-eastern, and Southern England, including the London area. Bombs caused some damage, and a small number of casualties. One raider which was brought down crashed close to a railway line, demolishing about 10 houses. Rescue squads are still searching for people buried under the rubble of the wrecked houses. London had two alerts, the first since April 27.
