HEALTH STAMPS
DESIGN FOR NEXT ISSUE PORTRAITS OF PRINCESSES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June -14. Speaking at a meeting of the Dominion Federation of Health Camps, the Minister of Health, Mr A. H. Nordmeyer, announced that the King had given special permission for the portraits of Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose again to appear on the health stamps. These would be of two values, with the same design for both, showing the Princesses together the elder in the uniform of the Sea Rangers and the younger in that of the Girl Guides. Mr Nordmeyer announced that it was thought possible that health camps which were temporarily used for other purposes would be able to resume their normal functions at an early date, and suggested that the date of the opening of these should coincide with the dam the stamps were placed on sale, which would probably be October 2.
