Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, \yas issued at 5 pm. yesterday by the Meteorological Office m Wellington:— . . Moderate to fresh south-westerly to westerly winds; a few isolated showers near the coast south of Dunedin, but weather otherwise temperatures cool. Further Outlook.—Mainly fair. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather yesterday was mild, with several hours of bright sunshine. There was a light southwesterly breeze, which increased m intensity during the evening. The barometer showed a rising tendency the midnight reading being 30.12 inches (1020 millibars).
