19th INDEPENDENT COMPANY
Over 40 ex-members of the 19tli Independent Infantry Company and National Reserve attended a meeting in the Bungalow Tea Rcom on Tuesday. Mr W. G. Williams presided. It was decided to forward a parcel to each ex-member serving overseas, and also to make a donation to the prisoners-of-war parcels fund. Two committees were set up—A Parcels Fund Committee comprising Messrs J. H. Main, H. S. Stevens, and J. McDonald, and a Sccial Committee comprising Messrs W. G. Williams, J. Heads, J. Thwaites, A. Napier, D. J. Collins, D. Kedzlie, and S. Addison. At a subsequent meeting of the Social Committee it was decided to hold a reunion, the tentative date being the first Saturday in August. The question of holding a dance was held over tili next meeting.
