CHANGEABLE WITH SHOWERS Forecast for Otago.— The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours was issued at sp.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— . Moderate to fresh south-westerly winds; weather changeable, with occasional scattered showers, chiefly near the coast south of Dunedin; temperatures cold. Further Outlook.—Bather changeable. Weather in Dunedin. —Although the weather was fine in Dunedin yesterday morning, the#skies- became overcast later in the day, and there was a' cold wind from the south-west. The barometer rose slowly during the day, the midnight reading being 29.97 inches, (1015 millibars).
