GROOVED TRAM RAILS
ORDERS FROM NEW ZEALAND MELBOURNE, June 3. Grooved tram rails are to be made in Australia for the first time by Broken Hill Proprietary Company. Ltd.,, the chairman of the Tramways Board;- Mr H. H. Bell, said in Melbourne. An order for 10,000 tons of rails had been placed by the Melbourne Tramways Board and other tramway authorities. Further orders for grooved rails were expected from New Zealand.
