GREECE OR ROME
Sir,—Might it not be urged against “ Civis ” that Europe derived its civilisation, not from Greece, but from Rome, after the coming of Christianity? Was it from Greece or from Home that England, Ireland, and Scotland were civilised?— I am, etc., M - June 10.
