INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT NEW YORK, Feb. 10. China will embark upon a concentrated industrialisation drive after the war, said Dr T. F. Tsiang, chief political secretary to General Chiang Kaishek, in a speech at a China-America commerce dinner. Dr Tsiang added that the Chinese Government recently decided to welcome foreign capital and remove the old restrictions upon business. Although during the last century blind prejudice against Western things andpolitical instability had prevented industrial development, the Chinese people were now ready to accept Western technology.
