SALVATION ARMY HOME LEAGUE

The inaugural meeting of the Salvation Army Home League for 1944 was largely attended by members. Letters of appreciation were received from soldiers in acknowledgment' of parcels sent by the Heme League at Christmas time, and Mrs Tonkin read replies • to letters sent to relatives of servicemen who had been killed in action or wounded. Major Moore gave a short talk to members. Items were given by Mesdames Cormack, Hosking, Tonkin, and Beatty.
