OVERCAST AND COLD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at S p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Fresh southerly winds; weather overcast and cold, with some scattered drizzle on the coast. Further Outlook.—Fair inland, cloudy elsewhere; continuing cold. Weather In Dunedin.—Overcast conditions prevailed, throughout, yesterday, and temperatures were low. The wind was from the south-west. The barometer rose steadily, the midnight reading being 29.98 in (1015 millibars). The following are the meterological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office:—
