NEW ZEALAND DAY

LONDON OBSERVANCE (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent) LONDON, Feb. 8. New Zealand Day was observed in London to-day, when a service was held at St. James’s, Garlickhythe. The Rev.- Arthur Kayll, of Auckland, gave the address. Many New Zealanders attended., and afterwards were entertained at tea in the Vinters’ Hall by the Girdlers’ Company, whose master (Sir Frank Bowater) received the guests. Among those present were the High Commissioner. Mr W. J. Jordan, and Mrs Jordan. Lady Jellicoe, Brigadier J.' Hargest, artd Group Captain A. J Manson.
