WAIPORI POWER
VISIT TO WORKS The Electricity Committee of the Citj Council has arranged for a visit of inspection to the Waipori Falls hydro-elec-tric station and Mahinerangi dam on Sunday nrxt. The power stations and the important extension works now proceeding at the dam will be inspected and a visit will also be made to the head of the lake to inspect the site of the bridges and other works which are to be undertaken there as a result of the raising of the level of the waters of the lake.
