ARMY MEDICAL OFFICERS SYDNEY, Feb. 5. An amending regulation issued in Canberra provides that doctors of the fighting forces of the Commonwealth, the dominions, and any Allied Power may perform medical services for civilians. Australian medical officers must perform these services when* directed. The officers will be deemed legally qualified medical practitioners in any State or territory of the Common-, wealth, although they may not have fulfilled the requirements of the relevant laws on registration of medical practitioners. Ministers holding service portfolios will determine the terms and conditions under which medical officers of the respective Commonwealth defence > forces may pei-form medical services for civilians and the fees payable to the Commonwealth for such services.
