BUSH FIRES IN VICTORIA

FRESH OUTBREAKS MELBOURNE, (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) . Feb. 7. Bush fires broke out again in Victoria during the week-end—the second time on a serious scale this year. Thickly timbered Gippsland areas are threatened, and large tracts of grass lands and much valuable timber have already been burned. Most of the fires are reported to be under control, but hundreds of firefighters are standing guard against further outbreaks.
