TEMPERATURES RISING Forecast for Otago.—The following offliial weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate northerly winds prevailing and later freshening. Weather • fair, with temperatures rising. Further Outlook.—Mainly fair. Weather in Dunedin:—Although several heavy showers fell during the day, the weather in Dunedin yesterday showed a steady improvement, and by evening the fresh south-westerly breeze had died down and the sky .had cleared considerably: The' barometer rose slowly during the day. the' reading dt midnight being 29.86 in (1011 millibars).
