OTAGO CLAIMS BREASTSTROKE RECORD The New Zealand Record for the 100 Yards Junior Girls’ Breaststroke is held by Miss Marjorie Hughes, of Dunedin, and not as a Press Association telegram stated in yesterday’s issue, by Miss M. Teague, of Wellington, who covered the distance in DO 3-ssec at the Wellington Centre s swimming carnival on Saturday. Miss Hushes whose time is 86 4-ssec, established the record in Dunedin on March 31, 1942.
