ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FALL THROUGH SKYLIGHT Mr Norman Ladbrook, of 225 George street., was admitted to the Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from scalp wounds and abrasions received when he fell through a skylight at his home. His condition is not serious. CRICKETER INJURED Mr John Partridge, a married man residing at Lowburn, was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from a fractured jaw received while playing cricket. His condition is not serious. KILLED IN CROSSING SMASH (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 9. An American serviceman was killed today when the truck he was driving collided with a train on the Victoria street level crossing at Onehunga.
