MAINLY FAIR TO CLOUDY Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington. Fresh south-westerly winds on the coast south of Otago Peninsula; elsewhere, moderate and variable; some passing showers near the south coast; elsewhere fair to cloudy; temperatures cooler. Further Outlook. —Temporarily fine. Weather In Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin on Saturday was fine and warm, although the sky was overcast during the latter part of the day. There was a light south-east breeze, and the barometer remained fairly steady, with a slight rising' tendency. Conditions were again overcast yesterday, and mild temperatures were experienced. There was a south-westerly breeze. The barometer fell during the day, but rose again in the evening, the midnight reading being 29.95 in (1014 millibars).
