Production expenses were obviously not spared when Paramount sent Hopalong Cassidy (William Boyd) and his pals out on a horse-buying trip in “ Outlaws oi the Desert,” which was shown at the Mayfair Theatre yesterday. In Arabia the trio of westerners meet with adventure far more exciting that on the prairie. Everything that the sands of the desert can conjure up for romantic adventure is put into this well-presented and entertaining tale. A sabre duel on horseback is an unusual spectacle. A thrilling®story of a commando raid is told in the supporting picture, " They Raid by Night, with Lyle Talbot and June Duprez in the starring roles.
