USE OF MADEIRA BASES LONDON, Jan. 4. Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent says that reports of an agreement regarding Madeira have bean formally denied in British official quarters.
A message published yesterday stated that, according to reports reaching Madrid from Vichy, the agreement between Britain and Portugal concerning the Azores has been extended to Madeira.
