ARMISHAW.—On January 1, 1944, at Auckland Hospital, Arthur Ralph, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth Mary and father of Lindsay and Ralph.—Cremated at Auckland, January 3, 1944. BLACKMORE.—On January 4 (suddenly), at Heretaunga, Wellington, Jenny, widow of the late Rev. H. B. Blackmore, England, and beloved mother of Dorothy, recently of St. Hilda’s Collegiate School, Dunedin; aged 79 years. No flowers.

EARWAKER.—On January 4, 1944, at her residence, Tdkanui, Agnes, beloved wife of. the late George Earwaker; aged 77 years. GREGORY.—On December 25, at Oxford, England, Dr M. K. Gregory (Betty), loved wife of Major R. R. Gregory, Royal Engineers, younger daughter of Lieutenantcolonel and the late Mrs R. R. Grigor, Balclutha, and sister of Mrs H. C. Anderson. Stirling.

Maurice Alexander, beloved husband of Sarah Hood, of 22 Forbes street, Mornington; aged 80 years. “At rest.”—The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street. M. Macgoun, of Dunedin, and loved stepfather of the Saunderson family; aged 68 years.—lnterred at Hillsborough Cemetery, Monday, January 3.
