DR SAMUEL ANGUS DEAD
DISTINGUISHED THEOLOGIAN (Rec. 11.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 17. The death is announced of Dr Samuel Angus, who rose from a farm boy to a world figure as Presbyterian theologian and author. He was 62 years
of age. Independent and outspoken, he was known to thousands of students whom he taught at Sydney University during the past 30 years as a kindly, sympathetic professor. He was Professor of the New Testament and Historical Theology at St. Andrew’s College, Sydney University, since May, 1914.
