The wage of an adult farm worker has been fixed under the Agricultural Workers’ Extension Order at £2 17s 6d a week. If the worker is not provided with board and lodging his wages must be increased by £1 a week. He would not, of course, be entitled to receive any age benefit if he accepted full-time employment on a farm.
