- A visitor to the Red Cross IK — ■. rooms last week was Mrs ( z l Virginia Smith, a member of I I the staff of the American el Red Cross in Wellington, and * she was greatly interested in the work of the local branch. Arrangements have been completed for the Junior Red Cross bring-and-buy sale, to be held on Saturday in the R.S.A. Hall, Moray place. This sale will be the second annual function, and the children have been working hard to stock the stalls. A thrift and flower competition will be held, and special features will include the waffle stall, produce, and novelties of all kinds. Afternoon tea will be served. Any support by donations and suitable gifts will be greatly appreciated.
