40,000 Beds need 40,000 Mattresses Before Xmas and 40,000 Mattresses need materials to fill them so that our Fighting Forces may have beds. These materials are made from woollen and cotton rags, properly processed and sterilised before being used as bedding material. Woollen and cotton rags make flock and mill wool. There is a serious shortage of rags for this purpose, so YOU can help. This is what you should do:— 1. Save all the woollen and cotton rags you can—factory and dressmakers' woollen and cotton offcuts, worn-out clothing, household linen, and your own dressmaking scraps. 2. Remove any metal hooks, clasps or domes, as these are liable to damage the processing machinery. Clip off buttons and save for further use. 3. Save your rags till you have a sugar-bag full, then take or send them to your nearest dealer listed below, and he will pay you cash for them.
