Rugby Football.—Saturday’s results were as follows: Toko I 8. Clutha I 4; Crescent I 19. Clinton 6; Clutha Juniors 17, Toko 6; Crescent Juniors 18, High School nil. Next Saturday’s fixtures are: Clinton v. Clutha, probably at Balclulha; Toko I v. Crescent, at Kaitangata; Crescent v. Clutha Juniors, at Balclutha; High School v. Toko Juniors, at Milton. On August 28 a seven-a-side tournament for Junior Grade under* 17 and an Open Grade will be held at Balclutha. Golf.—The first round of the Thompson Cup on Saturday resulted as follows:—A Grade: A.
