OTAGO v. CANTERBURY The following players have been selected to practise at Carisbrook at 4.30 pjn. to-day and on Thursday in view of the match against Canterbury on Saturday:— Backs—R. Masters (Air Force), D. E. Currie (South Otago), M. Smeeton (University Medical), T. Kawe (Medical), J. M Tweed (Medical), P. A. Ongley (Medical), D. Murdoch (University Combined Faculties), R. Elvidge (Combined Faculties), M. N. Paewai (Medical); forwards—L. Connolly (Dunedin), G. Gordon (Combined Faculties), T. Wallace (Dunedin), I. A. Prior (Medical), V. Newall (Union), G. Kelly (Dunedin), K. Thompson (Dunedin), R. Mara (Combined Faculties), W. McNab (Training College), T. Buckley (Combined Faculties), and E. Wallace (Dunedin). „ J The referee will be Mr J. Frood. The curtain-raiser will be provided by two senior teams, Air Force and Training College, and the referee for this match will be Mr E. Prebble. The box plan will be opened at Begg’s to-morrow.
