TEVIOT ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
The monthly meeting of the Teviot Electric Power Board was held last week. Present were Mr W. Johnstone (chairman). Dr J. R. Gilmour, Messrs J. H. Waigth, jun., and R. T. Kinaston. It was reported that the receipts for the month amounted to £3Ol 11s 6d, comprising electricity £l7B 4s 9d, wiring and showroom £34 2s lOd, cash sales £23 6s 4d, and miscellaneous £ls 17s 7d. The machines maintained the continuous load of 720 kw. throughout the month without trouble of any kind. The local peak load for the month was 640 kw. on July 24, and the 0.C.P.8. peak was 540 kw. The units generated for the month were: Local 245,340 units, central 289,920 units.
