THE NEED IN CHINA
Sir,—Like many another, I am interested in the matter of giving help to the starving millions in China. Will your correspondent " Sincerity ’’ indicate in what way one can help?—l am, etc., Dunedin, August 13. Interested. [A correspondent, “ Observant,” writing on this subject, suggests that the Chinese living in security in New Zealand should be the first to provide help for their famine-stricken countrymen in China. We have ascertained that the Chinese Association in New Zealand, acting on a permit from the Reserve Bank, sends funds monthly to China to assist that country’s war effort.—Ed. O.D.T.]
